Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Seat guests and manage the seating chart
- Provide excellent guest service and address any inquiries or concerns
- Take reservations over the phone and enter them into the reservation system
- Manage waitlists and estimate wait times for guests
- Handle cash transactions and operate the POS system
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host station and lobby area
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role preferred
- Strong communication skills and ability to provide exceptional guest relations
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations with patience and professionalism
- Excellent phone etiquette and ability to handle multiple phone lines
- Basic math skills for cash handling
