Job Overview: We are seeking a friendly and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Host/Cashier. In this role, you will be responsible for providing excellent hospitality and guest services to ensure a positive dining experience for our customers. Responsibilities: - Greet guests as they arrive and seat them at appropriate tables - Provide menus to guests and assist with any questions or recommendations - Take food and beverage orders accurately and enter them into the POS system - Relay orders to the kitchen staff and ensure timely delivery of food - Process payments from guests using cash, credit cards, or other forms of payment - Maintain cleanliness and organization at the host stand and cashier station - Assist with bussing tables and resetting them for new guests when needed - Handle guest inquiries, complaints, or requests in a professional manner - Collaborate with the restaurant team to provide exceptional service to all guests Requirements: - Previous experience in customer service or hospitality preferred - Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members - Knowledge of Aloha POS system is a plus - Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment - Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required - Positive attitude and willingness to help others - Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 25 pounds Note: This is a paid position. Internship positions are also compensated.
