Host/Cashier
Duties:
- Greet and welcome guests as they enter the restaurant
- Seat guests and provide them with menus
- Answer phone calls and take reservations
- Manage the waitlist and notify guests when their table is ready
- Assist with cleaning and setting up tables as needed
- Handle cash transactions and process payments accurately
- Provide excellent customer service and address any guest concerns or inquiries
- Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure smooth flow of service
Skills:
- Hospitality: Create a warm and welcoming atmosphere for guests
- Phone etiquette: Handle phone calls professionally and efficiently
- Help: Willingness to assist guests and team members as needed
- Guest relations: Build positive relationships with guests to enhance their dining experience
- Restaurant experience: Familiarity with restaurant operations and procedures
- Customer service: Ability to provide exceptional service to ensure guest satisfaction
- Aloha POS: Proficiency in using the TOAST POS system for order processing and payment transactions
- Guest services: Ability to anticipate guest needs and exceed their expectations
- Food service: Knowledge of food and beverage offerings to make recommendations to guests
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members
