Host/ Hostess

Bruncheonette is looking for a part time host/hostess to join our team. Hours of operation are 7am to 2pm. MUST be available on weekends. Schedule is currently 4 days a week (Fridays -Mondays). Starting in May, the schedule will be 5 days a week (Thursdays- Mondays).

Responsibilities:

• Provide excellent customer service to guests
• Greet and seat customers to their tables
• Arrange table settings and maintain a clean dining area
• Carry dirty plates, glasses and silverware to dish pit and sort
• Able to time and control the flow of customers when seating

Requirements:

• Prefer previous experience in the food service industry or as a Host/ Hostess
• Hands on experience with a cash register and Point of Sale System
• Basic Math Skills
• Attentiveness and patience for customers
• Excellent presentation skills
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Ability to perform well in a fast paced environment
• Active listening and effective communication skills
• Team Spirit

Compensation: Base wage ($16.28 per hour) PLUS daily profit share and additional tips

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.28 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 30 per week
