Bruncheonette is looking for a part time host/hostess to join our team. Hours of operation are 7am to 2pm. MUST be available on weekends. Schedule is currently 4 days a week (Fridays -Mondays). Starting in May, the schedule will be 5 days a week (Thursdays- Mondays).
Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent customer service to guests
- Greet and seat customers to their tables
- Arrange table settings and maintain a clean dining area
- Carry dirty plates, glasses and silverware to dish pit and sort
- Able to time and control the flow of customers when seating
Requirements:
- Prefer previous experience in the food service industry or as a Host/ Hostess
- Hands on experience with a cash register and Point of Sale System
- Basic Math Skills
- Attentiveness and patience for customers
- Excellent presentation skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Ability to perform well in a fast paced environment
- Active listening and effective communication skills
- Team Spirit
Compensation: Base wage ($16.28 per hour) PLUS daily profit share and additional tips
