```Duties:```
-Must understand and have a keen appreciation for "hospitality." Be prepared to tell us what that means in an interview
-Must understand and be able to contribute to "team-style" service and be comfortable performing seamlessly with an elite team of professionals WHO WORK TOGETHER. THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS "NOT MY TA BLE" HERE.
-Must be a utility player: If you can bartend AND serve AND pitch in at our combination craft bar/barista bar making coffee drinks, greeting guests, smiling all while and maintaing a sense of humor WE WANT YOU.
-Must internalize and support Healthy Drinking Culture values as published by Common Grounds, must be TIPS/TAM trained and certified or willing to become so once aboard
-Must be a fast learner: you will need to memorize and know 20+ craft cocktail recipes- we will train if you can handle that much data; must be a multi-tasker; must make it look easy
- Must understand, or be willing to study and learn craft beer and use that knowledge explaining, upselling guests, and if not, we will train if you can handle that
-Must understand, or be willing to learn at least the basics of the global wine world - and if not we will train you IF you can handle that
=- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers consistently to precise specs;
- Take orders from customers and provide recommendations based on their preferences
- Maintain a clean and organized bar and service area
- Check identification to ensure customers are of legal drinking age
- Handle cash transactions and process payments accurately
- Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food and beverage orders
```Qualifications:```
- Previous experience as a server and bartender or experience in a similar role is preferred; must be willing to abandon bad habits and work toward true professionalism
- Knowledge of sales techniques and ability to upsell products
- Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems for order processing and payment handling: we use the very intuitive standard TOAST
- Understanding of food handling and safety regulations in the food industry- you will have to pass the course if you havent already done so and we will pay for it
- Basic math skills for calculating bills, handling cash, and making change accurately
- Experience in banquet or catering settings is a plus
-You must be willing to learn basic barista skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on customer satisfaction
