Beverage Cart Attendant/Bartender

Position Details:

Job Title: Bartender / Beverage Cart Attendant

Department: Food and Beverage

Reports to: Food and Beverage Manager

Job Type: Part-time, Seasonal

Hours: Able to work varied 10-30 hours per week (15-25 hours on average). Must be flexible with scheduling, including weekends and holidays. Must be comfortable to navigate through fluctuations in pace, effectively managing high-volume rushes and remaining productive during slower periods.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks in accordance with standard recipes.
• Provide attentive and professional service to guests in the clubhouse, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere and a high level of customer satisfaction.
• Operate and manage the Beverage Cart on the golf course, providing prompt and courteous service to players.
• Ensure the Beverage Cart is stocked with a variety of drinks and snacks.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the clubhouse dining area, bar and cart areas by completing a daily/weekly chore list to ensure the presentation and functionality of service areas.
• Efficiently prepare quick meals such as hot dogs, brats, and other light fare, ensuring timely service and quality standards are met.
• Process transactions using the point-of-sale system, and accurate cash handling + credit card handling.
• Check identification of customers to verify age requirements for alcohol purchase.
• Monitor and manage inventory of beverages and supplies effectively and accurately.
• Work with other staff to provide a seamless service experience.
• Comply with all food and beverage regulations.
• Uphold a professional appearance when working at all times.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager.

Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High School graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Previous sales, bartending or serving experience preferred.
• Certifications valued!
• Knowledge of golf is a plus but not required.
• Valid driver's license and ability to operate a Beverage Cart safely.
• Excellent and friendly communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
