Job Description
Payrate: $22. 021 / hr
Allied Universal® is hiring a Hospital Security Operation Center (SOC) Dispatcher. The Hospital Security Operation Center Dispatcher will answer telephones and dispatch Hospital Security personnel accordingly, observe for signs of crime or disorder, monitor video recording devices, and provide information quickly and accurately to the appropriate individuals. The Dispatcher is also responsible for documenting incidents in detailed reports and assisting with the functions of physical and personal security and safety measures of staff, members, and visitors at the healthcare facility.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Answer telephones, acknowledge alarm signals, monitor video recording devices as assigned throughout the service area and accurately providing pertinent information to the Security SOC Supervisor
- Document incidents (including names, actions, and times) on the “Daily Activity Report"
- Respond to the security needs of their assigned healthcare facility, its agents or contactors and personnel
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Prior work experience involving dealing with customers, troubleshooting, and/or managing stressful situations
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience

- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.*A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
- Post offer, must be able to successfully complete the training requirement and obtain a Management of Aggressive Behavior certification
