$3500 Sign- on Bonus available to eligible candidates! Join our Hospice team as a Registered Nurse. This position will work full-time, 72 hours every two weeks, Monday-Friday between the hours of 8 a.m.- 5 p.m., every 4th weekend rotating days/evenings, 2 holidays a year, on call possible but not routine! This specific position will primarily serve hospice patients in the cities of Sauk Rapids, Foley, Milaca and surrounding areas.
Job Summary:
Make a difference in the lives of others by caring for patients and their families as a Hospice Registered Nurse (RN) with CentraCare. The Hospice RN will work with an interdisciplinary team while providing comfort care to patients wherever they call home. Responsibilities include completing medication reviews, seeking orders from physicians, and teaching caregivers about how to provide end of life care for their loved ones. Other routine nursing tasks include wound care, catheter care, head to toe assessments, and pain assessments while tending to ongoing case management with the team.
We provide an extensive orientation program as well as ongoing RN office support to you while visiting patients.
Schedule:
- Monday-Friday 8 a.m.-5 p.m.
- Every 4th weekend – have a day off before and after your weekend to work.
- Infrequent on-call.
- Rotating holidays and weekend evening.
Pay:
- Starting pay: ADN $34.04/hr; BSN $34.89/hr; MSN $35.76/hr
Qualifications:
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing required and current RN in MN
- Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Healthcare Provider card per established policy.
- Reliable transportation, valid Minnesota driver’s license, driving record in good standing, and the minimum amount of insurance liability coverage required.
- Previous experience in home care, hospice, terminally ill patients, or public health preferred.
- Minimum of two years’ experience in an acute care setting, at least one year as an RN
- Sign-on bonus requirements: To be eligible for the sign-on bonus you must be an external candidate who is hired into an eligible full time or part time benefited position. Previous employees qualify if they have not worked for CentraCare/Carris for at least 9 months at the date of hire.
