We are seeking a PRN Chaplain to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in event planning, conflict management, crisis management, crisis intervention, mentoring, and Christian counseling.
Responsibilities:
- Provide spiritual guidance and support to patients and their families
- Conduct religious services and ceremonies
- Offer counseling and emotional support to patients and their families
- Collaborate with medical staff to provide holistic care for patients
- Plan and organize events such as memorial services, weddings, and baptisms
- Manage conflicts that arise among patients or staff members
- Respond to crises such as deaths or emergencies within the hospital
- Mentor other chaplains or volunteers
Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in theology or related field
- Ordination or endorsement by a recognized religious organization
- Experience in pastoral care or chaplaincy preferred
- Knowledge of different religious traditions and practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
