Coordinates Centre County Homestead/Farmstead program for compliance with Act 1 and Act 50, utilizing specialized computer programs for maintaining database and submits reports to state and local authorities.
Essential Job Functions:
- Coordinates county Homestead/Farmstead program for compliance with Act 1 and Act 50.
- Utilizes specialized software program for review and approval of Homestead/Farmstead applications and for specialized reporting to state and local authorities.
- Communicates and corresponds with municipal and school district officials regarding Act 1 and Act 50.
- Processes and analyzes building permits and construction plans for use in field data collection.
- Assists Real Estate Assessors and Chief Assessor in the field performing field data collection.
- Maintains mobile home rolls and processes mobile home park reports.
- Prepares exonerations and resolutions when necessary.
Other Duties:
- Attends internal/external meetings during and after working hours as needed.
- Prepares collected data for CAMA entry.
- Performs other job-related duties as requested.
Education/Training Qualifications: High school diploma required; some college education preferred.
Work Experience: Two to four (2-4) years working experience with computer and deed research.
