Homemaker/Caregiver

Job Overview:
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide essential support and assistance to individuals with developmental disabilities, dementia, or autism. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in improving the quality of life for our clients by assisting with daily activities and ensuring their well-being. Responsibilities:
- Provide direct care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities, dementia, or autism
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Administer medication as directed by healthcare professionals
- Monitor vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate personnel
- Assist with mobility and transfers
- Engage clients in meaningful activities and promote social interaction
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients
- Document client progress and report any significant observations or incidents

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in caregiving or related fields preferred
- Knowledge of first aid procedures and ability to respond to emergencies
- Familiarity with home care practices and techniques
- Understanding of working with individuals with developmental disabilities, dementia, or autism
- Ability to provide patient-centered care with empathy and compassion
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and healthcare professionals
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional certifications in caregiving or healthcare are a plus

Note: All positions must be paid including internship positions.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.38 - $20.93 per hour
