Responsibilities:
- Provide direct care to individuals with developmental disabilities and dementia.
- Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Administer medications according to prescribed schedules
- Ensure the safety and well-being of residents at all times
- Follow care plans and communicate any changes in condition to the appropriate personnel
- Assist with meal planning and preparation
- Maintain a clean and organized living environment for residents
- Promote resident rights and independence
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or dementia is preferred
- Ability to lift and transfer residents as needed
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate and patient demeanor
- High school diploma or equivalent
