Job Description
We have an immediate opening for a reliable Home Medical Equipment (HME) Delivery Technician to join our team on a part-time basis. As a Delivery Technician, you will be responsible for delivering and setting up Home Medical Equipment to patients and customers in their homes including assisted living and independent living facilities. Ability to lift 75 lbs. + is a firm requirement for this position. You will be assisting the Tech Service manager in the delivery and assembly of Lift Chair (Lazy Boy Type) Recliners, Hospital Beds, Power Mobility products and other mobility aids. Past experience in furniture delivery and assembly is helpful but not required. Experience in electronic device, car repair, or other mechanical experience is helpful but not required. This position has the potential to grow into a Full Time opportunity for the right candidate.
Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs +
- Reliable and punctual
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to troubleshoot equipment and perform minor repairs (Training Provided)
- Background in furniture moving, electronics or mechanical knowledge preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
