As an Inside Sales Consultant you will learn the ins and outs of the mortgage industry from the ground up.

At RUM you will start out as a Loan Apprentice where you will become licensed to service customers and learn our entire sales process. As you progress into a Loan Advisor and Team Lead, you will take on extra responsibilities within your team. This will include classroom training and mentoring with executive level employees who will coach and develop you.
Our program provides hands-on training & development in: Mortgage Lending, Sales, Account Management, Customer Service, and Financial Advising
Job Responsibilities:
The Loan Advisor assists customers in achieving their financial goals through utilization of the best mortgage loan option. The LA is also tasked with making sure each customer is fully informed about the different kinds of mortgages available to them while guiding them through the entire process.
  • Maintain all necessary Federal licensing requirements as well as licensing requirements to service customers in up to six (6) states.
  • Originates with all available lead sources offered by Royal United Mortgage
  • Develop new prospects, enhances business relationships, applies expert knowledge of the business and its products, generates loan volume and conducts lead generating and client service activities.
  • Determine the optimal way to match the consumer's profile with the various product lines available to ensure the recommended mortgage/home equity options documented are saleable assets in the secondary market.
  • Evaluate loan applications and documentation by confirming credit-worthiness.
  • Inform loan applicant of any additional requirements in order for the customer to improve the loan application.
  • Complete loan contracts by explaining provisions to customer; obtains signatures and collects applicable fees.
  • Maintain a positive customer relationship at all times
