Job Summary
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Home Health Aides. As a Home Health Aide, you will provide essential care and support to individuals in their homes. Your role will involve assisting with daily activities, monitoring health conditions, and ensuring the overall well-being of our clients.
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance to clients, including bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Assist with mobility and transfers
- Administer medications as directed by healthcare professionals
- Monitor vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate personnel
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding
- Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Follow all HIPAA regulations and maintain confidentiality of client information
- Complete accurate medical documentation and maintain records
Skills
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following skills:
- Previous experience in a nursing home or caregiving setting is preferred
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and ability to maintain confidentiality
- Familiarity with medical terminology and documentation practices
- Ability to provide compassionate care to individuals with dementia or memory care needs
- Strong communication skills and ability to effectively interact with clients, families, and healthcare professionals
- Ability to take accurate vital signs measurements
