About the Home Health Aid opportunity:
We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a PRN Home Health Aide! In this position, you will play a vital role in helping our clients with activities of daily living and engaging with the community.
Duties:
The PRN Home Health Aide will cover shifts You will be offered shifts on a weekly basis and must pick up a minimum of 1 shift per month in order to remain active with Thrive and hence continue to be offered additional shifts. This position requires you to have your own vehicle with car insurance and valid driver's license. Additional locations may be added as we continue to expand.
Home Health Aid responsibilities:
- Be available to cover weekly shifts.
- MUST be willing to drive throughout Osceola County to cover shifts. Additional locations may be added as we continue to expand.
- Provide personal care to our clients to assist with their activities of daily living.
- Deliver services as outlined in a person-centered service plan, including but not limited to:
- Performing home management functions such as light housekeeping, laundry, bedmaking, and light cleaning.
- Planning meals, grocery shopping, preparing and serving food/meals, and clean up.
- Accompanying clients to scheduled appointments
- Transporting clients or running errands
- Providing respite care for clients
- Ensure client safety
- Provide clients mobility/movement support
- Ensure client safety and maintain a safe environment
- Encourage self-help activities
- Report changes in client’s condition or family situation to the office
- Document all services provided
Specific Requirements:
- 18 years or older
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
- Pass a background check
- High school degree/GED
- Bilingual is a plus
- COVID vaccine required
- Current CPR and First Aid required
- TB test
- Valid driver’s license, vehicle, and current insurance
- Ability to handle physical aspects of the job, including bending, stooping, lifting, pushing, pulling, and walking for periods of time.
- Ability to travel extensively in a geographic area
- Hearing, eyesight, and physical dexterity must be sufficient to perform duties, and understand and communicate with the client/family to demonstrate client care.
- Ability to give and receive information orally, electronically, and over the phone.
- Must be able to adequately document care provided.

Pay Rate: $15-$17 per hour (DOE)
