Job Title/Position: Branch Director
Reports To: VP of Home Health Operation
The Branch Director effectively manages the Agency's clinical operations, services, personnel performance, and office management on an ongoing basis.
Required:
Registered Nurse (RN) license
Strong Home Health background
Leadership experience
Compensation: $165k, negotiable DOE
Key Contributions
- CODING, OASIS SCORING, SERVICE UTILIZATION - Work closely with the Coding Department. Ensure that the OASIS scoring is correct. Validate the frequency of visits based on assessment scoring. Work aggressively with your field staff to ensure that they perform longer visits rather than more visits.
- QUALITY VISITS - Work with the field staff to maximize efforts on each visit to ensure no unnecessary visits are performed in any given episode. Run, and then follow up on your Agent Visit Time Reports weekly. Make on site visits with your staff on a regular basis. Ensure you have identified an appropriate preceptor(s) for your field staff, they are your Ambassadors to company culture.
- PROMOTE COMPANY MISSION - Demonstrate how to be an Ambassador for Mission Healthcare and ensure all employees promote the company mission.
- REPORTS - The Profitability Snapshot tool will be a keyway that we can ensure that we properly match service provision with the identification of needs through the OASIS Assessment tool. Monitor productivity for fulltime staff through Agent Productivity and Forecast Reports every couple of days.
Requirements
- RN required.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Bachelor's degree preferred.
- A minimum of 3+ years of Home Health care experience preferred.
- A minimum of 5+ years of nursing experience within the last 36 months.
- A minimum of 5+ years of successful employee management.
- A minimum of 5+ years of successful operation management experience.
- Medicare Home Health experience preferred.
- Current licensure in State & hands on BLS CPR certified.
- Must have a good understanding of the Federal, State and local laws/regulatory guidelines governing the operation of home heath branch and its employees.
- Have valid driver's license with no restrictions and auto insurance meeting state's insurance coverage minimums.
- Excellent observation, verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, basic math skills; nursing skills per competency checklist.
- Travel: This position will require some travel. Must maintain a valid driver's license, active auto insurance meeting state minimum requirements and an operational vehicle.
