Home Health Aide

Job Summary:
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Health Aides to provide essential care and support to individuals in their homes. As a Home Health Aide, you will play a vital role in assisting patients with daily activities and ensuring their overall well-being.

Duties:
- Provide personal care assistance to patients, including bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Assist with mobility and transfers, utilizing proper lifting techniques
- Administer medications according to prescribed schedules and document administration accurately
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed
- Provide companionship and emotional support to patients
- Assist with light housekeeping tasks, such as laundry and tidying up
- Follow care plans and communicate any changes in patient condition to the appropriate healthcare professionals

Experience:
- Previous experience in a nursing home or home care setting is preferred
- Familiarity with dementia care is a plus
- Knowledge of proper lifting techniques for safe patient transfers
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
