Home Health Aide

### Overview:

We are currently seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Health Aides to join our team. As a Home Health Aide, you will play a vital role in providing essential care and support to individuals in their homes. ### Duties:

- Provide personal care assistance to patients, including bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Assist with mobility and transfers, ensuring the safety and well-being of patients
- Administer medication reminders and assist with medication management
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding, adhering to dietary restrictions if applicable
- Monitor vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate healthcare professionals
- Assist with light housekeeping tasks, such as laundry and tidying up patient's living space
- Provide companionship and emotional support to patients
- Follow HIPAA guidelines to maintain patient confidentiality
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure coordinated and effective care

### Skills:

- Experience working in nursing homes or hospice care settings is preferred
- Proficiency in cooking meals according to dietary restrictions
- Knowledge of tube feeding procedures and protocols
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and patient privacy rights
- Strong organizational skills to manage patient care schedules and documentation
- Understanding of medical terminology related to Home Healthcare services
- Ability to provide compassionate care for individuals with developmental disabilities
- Excellent communication skills for effectively interacting with patients, families, and healthcare professionals

Pay: $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 25 per week
