Position: Hybrid Home Health Aid & Office Assistant - Full-Time

Who we are looking for:
A friendly, personable, and focused individual who is open to a hybrid role that will include working in the office doing administrative tasks but also working with patients who need Home Health Aid assistance when necessary. Transportation is provided by a company car when leaving the office to go see patients.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Work as a team player with the other employees of Rehab at Home.
- Perform administrative duties including but not limited to; picking up PCP orders, directing calls ect.
- Driving in the DFW area to see a patient who needs aid
- Follows the plan of care to provide, safe, competent care/service to the client
- Assists the client with ambulation as approved
- Attempts to promote the client's mental alertness through involvement in activities of interest
- Gives simple emotional and psychological support to the client and other members of the household and establishes a relationship with client and family which transmit trust and confidentiality
- Observes and reports any change in the client's mental or physical condition or in the home situation to the supervisor
- Performs routine housekeeping tasks as related to a safe and comfortable environment for the client
- Confirms, on a weekly basis, the scheduling of visits so that other necessary visits by staff members can be coordinated
- Promptly report any change in client condition to the RN Case Manager
- Works within the Home Aide's scope of practice
- When working in the office, be prepared to answer phones, make schedules for clients, work with clients, families, and caregivers for staffing, organize and file client clients, and visit client homes when needed for paperwork.

- Use of BP cuff
- Thermometer
- Stethoscope
- Pulse oximeter
- Hand washing materials
Skills We are Looking For:
- Exceptional Communication Skills
- Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel & Word
- Reading and Writing Proficiency
- Home Healthcare Software Experience Preferred.
