Job Responsibilities
- Complete operational requirements by scheduling appointments, meetings, taking minutes, preparing conference and travel authorization requests, providing information by answering questions/inquires and providing phone coverage for management calls and inquiries (to include rotating coverage of phones in the event of staff shortages)
- Actively participate in administrative functions, assessments and training for the Unit; includes acquiring and exemplifying a full understanding of each program area and as requested by management
- Manage multiple projects in a timely manner with quality, accuracy and professionalism
- Develop presentations, procedures, reports, tracking and communications as indicated by supervisor
- Handle mailings and mail distribution for Unit teams
- Organize and prepare for events, meetings, site visits, and audits as well as material preparation for attendees (includes packets, agendas, handouts)
- Maintain office equipment to include copiers, scanning, faxes and telephone for staff
- Provide excellent customer service and professionalism to staff, vendors, stakeholders and management;
- Perform other duties as requested

- Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills to work with staff, beneficiaries and other key stakeholders
- Proven ability to comprehend instructions and implement requested tasks and responsibilities within given timelines and due dates
- Demonstrated ability to record, compile, summarize and perform basic analysis of narrative materials.
- Ability to learn and independently apply procedures, laws, departmental rules and regulations
- Proven ability to work independently as the work increases in scope and complexity
- Excellent written communications and demonstrated ability to apply sentence and grammatical structure to independently compose and format materials within established guidelines
- Ability to use judgment in coordinating and monitoring office procedures and workflow.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects in a timely manner and meet identified quality, accuracy and professionalism
- Proven ability to use courtesy and tact in performing public contact and communication duties that may be sensitive in nature
- Proficient in MS Word and Excel
- Knowledge of the Medicaid and Medicare programs and third party payer methods desired.
- Prior familiarity with Kinnser Home Health EMR software strongly desired.
- At least 1 year of experience in Home Health.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements
Graduation from high school and demonstrated possession of knowledge, skills, and abilities gained through at least 2 years of office assistant/secretarial experience; or an equivalent combination of training and experience.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 37.5 per week
