Position: Registered Nurse (RN) - Home Care

Location: Morristown, NJ

Duration: 13-week contract

Shift: 8:00 am - 4:00 pm

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week contract in Morristown, NJ, to provide compassionate Home Care services to patients in their residences. The ideal candidate will have experience in home health care, be proficient in using Homecare Homebase Software, and have a strong understanding of OASIS documentation.

Requirements:

• Active state license as a Registered Nurse
• Certification in Home Health (CHPN) preferred
• Current CPR certification
• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as an RN in a clinical care setting
• At least 2 years of experience in home health care
• Graduation from an accredited Associate Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma program
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred
• Reliable transportation, current driver's license, and insurance

Responsibilities:

• Conduct patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
• Administer medication and provide wound care as needed
• Monitor patient health and update care plans accordingly
• Educate patients and their families on proper healthcare strategies
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records

Job Types: Travel nursing, Contract

Salary: $85.00 - $88.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
