Performs evaluations and re-evaluations on patients to establish plan of care and goals. Performs patient treatment per Occupational Therapy procedures of modalities, therapeutic exercise, ADL training and other accepted methods. Communicates pertinent information, verbally or written, to physician, other staff members and patients/caregivers. Supervises and directs Home Health Aides care in relationship to the patients rehab program. Demonstrates active participation in Home Care department functions.
Education and Work Experience
- Bachelor's degree or Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy from accredited program.
- Current license as an Occupational Therapist.
- One (1) year recent clinical experience. Home Care experience preferred.
- Current CPR certification.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem solving skills.
- Strong time management skills.
- Current driver's license, car insurance, car registration, and reliable automobile.
- Ability to work independently
