Home Care Assistant, All Shifts

It´s hard to put a price on helping others, but we know how important you and your work are and value the impact you would make day in and day out for our clients.

Shift Type:

• Work up to 40 hours per week
• Night and day shifts (depending on your availability)
• We have 4, 6, and 8 - hour shifts available

Salary: $17-$19 USD (it depends on experience & availability)

Who You´ll Be:

Upon hiring, Right at Home will provide you with a paid orientation and training. You will be able to interact with our administrative staff and get all of your questions answered.

The best part is that your training will teach you everything you need to know to succeed on the job, but there are a few character traits you should have from the get-go. We have a great work culture at Right at Home and look for people with a similar mindset.

What You Will Do:

Your responsibilities may include tasks shuch as:

• Offering companionship care
• Take clients for walks, trips to activities or social events, errands, etc.
• Assisting with prescribed range of motion exercises
• Help with simple meal preparations
• Light housekeeping
• Help with Activities of Daily Living such as:
  • Personal Hygiene
  • Dressing
  • Eating
  • Maintaining Continence
  • Help with Transferring/Mobility

All Clients have different needs and specific care plans. We will not have you care for a client that requires help beyond your capacities.

Must Haves:

• The most important requirement is to have a passion for working with and helping our senior community
• Pass a background test
• Read, write, speak, and understand English, as needed for the job
• Current TB clearance
