Coordinates, manages, and performs a wide array of administrative duties to support Home Care clinical operations workflows. Assists Home Care leadership with the coordination and execution of operations improvement projects and/or corrective action plans implemented to meet and exceed VNS Health key performance metrics, goals, and objectives.
Compensation:
$25.46 - $31.86 Hourly
- Provides, supports, and completes administrative duties for Home Care operations initiatives as identified by leadership. Administrative duties include but are not limited to project plan development, implementation, data collection, audit, monitoring, and analytical support for existing workstreams and other improvement projects.
- Serves as the primary contact for and coordinates workflow referral to support the referral intake process by reviewing patient documents for correct infusion orders, line access information, and clinical documentation to accept the patient for bill through services. Ensures patient charts include required patient documents from infusion vendors.
- Coordinates and supports office staff workforce management activities to ensure adequate staffing & coverage planning for Home Care operations.
- Supports various operational processes with administrative functions including the nurse on-call visit schedules, nursing branch onboarding program for new nursing hires supporting the preceptor, and Nursing Residency programs by maintaining rosters and schedules to coordinate branch activities.
- Processes outstanding patient consent reconciliation and electronic visit verification (EVV) workflow level 1 in partnership with Management.
- Maintains an operations manual detailing internal processes and procedures to promote business continuity, standardization including, but not limited to assignment and scheduling operations and administrative operations relating to Home Care Home Base workflows
- Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent required
Associate's Degree In business administration, office management or related Health care operations preferred
Work Experience:
Minimum of 1 year business, office or administration experience preferably in a health care setting required
Effective oral/verbal and written communication skills required
PC skills including Microsoft Windows, Word and Excel skills required
