02/29/2024HCPSS Home and Hospital (HH) Program is seeking applicants to increase its temporary part-time teaching staff. The HH Program is designed to provide instructional continuity to students who are unable to attend their regular school of enrollment due to physical illness or disability, emotional crisis (including substance abuse) or pregnancy.
It is a short-term, itinerant instructional service mandated by state law with specific guidelines for program implementation and delivery. Preparing for the eventual return to school, the education services provided enable students to continue their academic work and to remain current with their peers. HH is provided only during the academic year.
Prior teaching and/or Home and Hospital experience preferred.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree or higher
- Current teacher certification is preferred, but not required.
- A car and a valid driver's license
Hourly pay rate:
Home & Hospital Teacher (non-certificated) $35.00 per hour
Home & Hospital Teacher (certificated) $45.00 per hour
