Genesis10 is currently seeking a Hogan Developer with our client in the technical industry located in Tysons, VA. This is a remote, full-time position.
Responsibilities:
- Designs, develops, enhances, debugs, installs, tests, supports, maintains and documents complex applications software that supports business units and their functions
- Contributes to the design and delivery of technical architecture solution components
Requirements:
- Minimum 4 years of Hogan experience
- 4 year minimum in the following categories: Mainframe/COBOL/JCL/Hogan/CICS, Mainframe Production Support, Product experience
- Product design and support experience
- Software development life cycle experience, working with software design, software development life cycle, development methodologies and implementation
- Excellent Communication Skills
Desired skills:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience with IMS DB, MQ, VSAM, ENDEVOR, FILE MANAGER, etc.
- IMS DB, MQ and VSAM development experience. Strong Endevor, File manager, Ezytrieve and TSO Development skills, Tool experience
- Excellent debugging skills
- Good understanding of third party dependency management and transitive dependency issues
- Knowledge on IMS database
- Experience with implementation and release management activities
- Good understanding of unit/system and functional testing methodologies
- Experience working in large transaction based systems
- Experience writing technical designs
- Experience documenting technical functions
- Have a strong ability and interest in working with a diverse range of technical and non-technical teams
- Strong proclivity to follow coding standards and execute a best practices approach in build processes
Pay Range: $60.00 - $75.00
