Both Producing & Non-Producing HLC Managers are responsible for maintaining a full team of highly motivated, self-sustained, top producing Mortgage Originators who operate with integrity, accountability, and professionalism. HLC Managers are also responsible for producing high quality loans that meet Evolve Bank & Trust’s Mortgage guidelines by building relationships with realtors, builders, financial planners, past customers, and other nontraditional sources while providing excellent customer service. Strong sales and organizational skills are essential.
Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Effectively recruit, coach, manage, and motivate a high-performance sales team and administrative staff.
- Develop knowledge of company products, policies and procedures, and underwriting requirements.
- Understand real estate appraisals, title reports, and real estate transactions.
- Inform prospective and existing customers of Evolve Bank & Trust’s programs, rates, policies, underwriting requirements, and loan procedures.
- Analyze detailed financial and credit data, matching customer needs with an appropriate loan program and level of risk.
- Receive customer applications, quote the rate and points, and complete follow-up activities with the registration lock-in.
- Develop and maintain a high degree of visibility for Evolve Bank & Trust in the marketplace.
- Establish a managerial presence and a culture of accountability with Mortgage Originators by making them responsible for adhering to the policies, procedures, professionalism, and production requirements of the company.
- Perform miscellaneous duties as needed and required.
Education and Experience:
- 3+ years sales and/or mortgage industry experience.
- 2+ year sales leadership experience in financial services.
- Persons in this position must meet the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau loan originator qualification requirements and must comply with Evolve Bank & Trust policies related to these requirements. The loan originator qualification requirements include meeting applicable financial responsibility, character, credit fitness and criminal background standards. Successful candidates must also meet ongoing regulatory requirements including additional screening. A Valid NMLS License and SAFE Act compliance are required.
