Job Description
Soliant Education has partnered with aschool district in Ohio to prescreen, interview and hireSpecial Education Teachers (Intervention Specialists) for the currentschool-year to provide remote services to students.
Qualifications:
- Current Ohio Special Education License as an Intervention Specialist.
- Master's degree in Special Education or related field.
- Strong knowledge of special education laws, regulations, and best practices in Ohio.
- Excellent munication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and adapt to a remote work environment.
- Prior experienceis required, 2 years minimum.
- Previous remote experience highly preferred.
- Up to date puter and access to secure and private internet.
- Ability to work full-time highly preferred, however part-time applicants may be considered.
Schedule:
The schedule can be flexible to acmodate the needs of both the students and the applicant, however, interested applicants will need some availability during a typical school-schedule for meetings and direct services etc.
pensation:
- 1099contracted position for the entire school-year, with contract renewals available for a good fit
- Flexible hours for indirect services (planning time, meetings, etc)
- Work from home
- Clinical and Tech support provided
- Free ZOOM platform
- Paid for ALL hours worked, indirect and direct services
petitive and negotiablehourly rate will be determined based on experience of applicant, as well as school budget. Applicant will not be paid when school is closed. Off on weekends, evenings and school holidays.
