Herbert, Rowland & Grubic, Inc. (HRG) is an employee-owned, nationally recognized consulting engineering, planning, and infrastructure solutions firm.
We are actively seeking a Highway Staff Professional I to join our dedicated team of professionals in Morgantown, WV. Key responsibilities include:
Work with Project Manager(s), Project Engineer(s), and other Staff Professional(s) to successfully complete highway design and related projects
Plan development and presentation
Assisting with project design
Assisting in preparation of project deliverables, project manuals, and specifications
Requirements
Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering or Civil Engineering Technology
Transportation/Highway emphasis (preferred)
E.I.T. certification (a plus)
Course work and/or 0-2 years' experience working on projects that include:
Highway design
Intersection improvements
Environmental permitting
Stormwater design
Erosion and sedimentation control design
Other transportation / highway related experience
Previous internship with a consulting engineering firm (preferred)
Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
Working familiarity of OpenRoads Designer/MicroStation and/or AutoCAD Civil 3D (helpful)
Position requires travel to job sites, meetings, and HRG offices as necessary (Valid driver's license is required)
Has the legal right to work in the U.S.
