Role Purpose
- Trading Strategists produce trade commentary, trade ideas and other analysis for distribution to the desk’s client base and to internal stakeholders.
- Proactively develop trade ideas across various sectors and assist sales in marketing these ideas.
- Ensure coverage and support for Credits in which a Banking Relationship exists.
- Close coordination with Debt Capital Markets
- Monitor and analyse news flows real time whilst understanding the risk on the desk.
- Trading Strategists can work on "event" situations in real time to increase flow .
Management of Risk
Responsible for the continual assessment of operational risks associated with the role and inherent in the business, taking account of changing economic or market conditions, legal and regulatory requirements, operating procedures and practices, management restructuring and the impact of new technology.
Demonstrates compliance with HSBC Group standards, manuals and policies and adheres to the defined work practices, internal controls and risk management standards associated with the role.
Observation of Internal Controls

For this role, the targeted fixed pay is $250,000.00.
