Job Description
The University of Texas Permian Basin welcomes current student applications for the position of High School Internship - Information Technology Services (ITS) Productions.
REPORTS TO:Information Technology Services Staff.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Student Workers for Information Technology Services will provide entry-level support and assistance to the department.
SPECIFIC TASKS AND DUTIES:
1. Operate classroom technology in support of face-to-face classes.
2. All stages of video production.
3. Multimedia Production to include 360 videos, VR, and AR deliverables.
4. Perform various day-to-day administrative, clerical, and routine functions in support of the ITS projects.
5. Provide training to faculty and staff in the use of multimedia equipment and production methods.
6. Assist faculty in the creation of digital media to be used in the course of their teaching duties.
7. Manage and produce live streams.
8. Position may require working outside of typical staff work hours.

SCHEDULE:
This is a part-time non-exempt classified position. Hours scheduled to be worked will be identified by your supervisor, however; the incumbent may not exceed 19.5 in any given workweek. The individual holding this position may need to be available early morning, evening, and weekends to meet the needs of the department. All applicants for clerical student positions must be enrolled as part-time or full-time students at the University of Texas Permian Basin.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
All student employees of the University must complete a background check.
Preferred Qualifications
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:1. Applicants should possess good organizational and communication skills (spoken and written)
2. Be punctual, reliable, detail-focused, and committed.
3. Experience with Microsoft Office is highly preferred.
Physical Demands
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Physical strength/endurance to enable him/her to perform/participate in the following activities:
1. Physically able to lift various materials up to 50 pounds on an occasional basis.
2. While performing required job tasks, physically able to bend, crouch, and reach continuously.
3. While performing required job tasks, physically able to remain seated, frequently to continuously.
4. While performing required job tasks, physically able to remain standing up to 15% of the time.
5. Possesses dexterity abilities required to operate a computer and other office equipment to perform related job responsibilities.
