High School Cheer Coach

Glide High School is seeking a Head Cheer Coach for the Fall and Winter Seasons. Pay is a stipend for each season, placement is based on experience.
Distinguishing Characteristics: Ability to organize and supervise a total sports program. Previous successful coaching experience preferred. The head coach must have substantial knowledge of the technical aspects of the sport and, at the same time, must continue to examine new theories and procedures pertinent to the field. Serve as an appropriate role model for student athletes through their instructions and actions. Reports to the Athletic Director, who provides overall objectives and final evaluations.
All out-of district candidates selected for employment (regular or temporary), including former employees selected for rehire, must satisfactorily complete screening tests for illegal drug use prior to the district presenting a final offer of employment. The position also requires Fingerprinting for Oregon Department of Education.
