COVID 19 Vaccination Required JOB TITLE: Head Cheer CoachREPORTS TO: Athletic Associate PrincipalFTE: 1.0POSITION START DATE: 08/15/2023GENERAL DUTIES SUMMARY: Demonstrate ability to develop, articulate and implement a vision for the Tigard High School Cheer team. REQUIREMENTS & RESPONSIBILITIES:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the following requirements and responsibilities satisfactorily. However, any one employee may not perform all duties listed and examples may not cover all duties an employee is expected to perform.

Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable an individual with disabilities to perform the essential requirements and responsibilities of the position.Hire assistants for the Cheer programDetermine the system of play to be usedDevelop and implement an off-season program Advocate for multi-sport athletesResponsible for sports academic improvement/accountabilityHold all student athletes and coaching staff to high expectationsCommunicates with parents as necessaryFollows District standards including reporting concerns, abuse and infractions of student handbook policiesWorks effectively and collaborates with the building administrator and work teamUnderstands and complies with Oregon Teacher's Stands of Competent and Ethical Performance QUALIFICATIONS:The essential qualifications of the position are listed below.
