As an HGV Specialist, you will drive our growth, expanding our market presence through new commercial customer acquisition within one of the following territories: Pacific Northwest, California, Rocky Mountain, Midwest, Upper Midwest, or Northeast. Must reside within the designated territories or be willing to relocate.
Your journey as a HydroBuilder Holdings HGV Specialist will involve the following:
Responsibilities:
- Building direct relationships with commercial cultivators; including via prospecting, cold-calling, and other lead sources
- Generating new HGV trials, conversations, and ongoing new sales
- Demonstrating sales and support value to customers and using their network to generate more organic leads for HGV
- Providing on-site customer support, and troubleshooting for cultivators in a timely manner
- Understand implementing and using HGV as it relates to real-time cultivation
- Collecting and feeding data, information, and pictures of customer issues back to management
- Collecting media content from cultivators
- Be the “Voice of HGV Nutrients” in your market and deliver on our Brand Promise to our customer base
- Build a relationship with the EES Sales team to work together on specific customers to increase customer wallet spending and provide innovative solutions advantageous to the customer.
Required Skills:
- Knowledge of cannabis growing techniques and best practices through the entire lifecycle with a focus on Growing Media, Fertigation, Environment, and irrigation.
- Basic knowledge of chemicals and reactions
- Desire to keep learning and absorb information backed by scientific facts.
- Self-motivated and detail-oriented, with exceptional organizational skills.
- A gift for building relationships and superior interpersonal and communication skills.
- A fierce competitive spirit and a burning desire to win at all costs.
- Proficiency in lead generation, lead qualification, and initiating contact.
- Ability to collect data, and track active trials/customers' progress.
- Ability to communicate and pass information clearly to other teams in the organization.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative to dictate your success.
Required Experience:
- Industry Cultivation or irrigation experience REQUIRED.
- Fit the Cannabis Industry Culture
- Sales Experience a PLUS
- Proven track record of exceeding sales goals.
- Territory buildout experience is a plus.
- CRM experience is a plus.
- Clean driving record.
Travel Requirement
- Get ready for an adventure! Expect 75-100% travel (including local territory driving).
- While this isn't a desk job, some administrative work is part of the deal.
- HGV Specialist is expected to be “in the territory” almost daily.
