General Shift Times: (6-10 hour shifts based on production needs with peak mandatory weekends, available evening and overnight shifts)

2nd shift: 3:30pm - 9:00pm

3rd shift: Overnight

Position Summary: As a member of the Herff Jones team you will work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment printing high school and college yearbooks in a timely manner. Work efficiency, a focus on quality and an ability to communicate and work well with others will make you successful in this role. We are hiring for machine operators, entry level clerks, yearbook material handlers, warehouse.

What we want you to accomplish:

• Successfully learn and demonstrate competency in the skills required to support yearbook production within the first five days.
  • Increase speed and proficiency of handling within the first 10 days.
  • Record no unexcused absences in the first 90 days.

Core Activities:

• Meet or exceed department weekly goals
• Keep spoilage to a minimum
• Work in harmony with group leader, supervisor & co-workers

Success Indicators:

• Able to cooperate and work well with others in a team oriented environment.
• Have exceptional attendance
• Experience working in a high-volume manufacturing facility.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Keep work area neat and organized
• Keep equipment running efficiently

Education / Certifications Required:

• High school diploma or GED

Physical Requirements:

• Lift 20-30 lbs. multiple times a day
• Ability to stand entire shift
