Lockheed Martin Space is seeking a full-time Helpdesk engineer responsible for providing basic user support while assigned to the customer facility. Said support may include creating, maintaining, and deleting user accounts, password resets, account unlocks, and general account questions/problems. Candidate will monitor system performance and must be able to run daily operational jobs and other associated tasks. If a system problem develops, candidate will be required to open a trouble ticket to document the issue, and then notify external service providers of the problem. Candidate will monitor/update status of trouble ticket(s) as conditions change. Candidate will report directly to the SSC Agile Team Lead for the program and will provide regular communication on the status of open trouble tickets, reports, metrics, and participate in quality audits associated with tracking system performance. Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
Required: Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
Basic Qualifications
2+ Years of recent Helpdesk experience
2+Years working within a Windows and or Linux environment, network troubleshooting, and or Microsoft Suite experience.
1+ years of Network Operations Center (NOC) experience
Must have a TS/SCI prior to start with the ability to obtain and maintain TS/SCI w/poly
Desired skills
Prior Trouble Ticket software experience such as Version One or Jira.
Windows and Linux Environment
AWS Cloud computing and or storage support
Ability to work closely with end users
Ability to Capture helpdesk trouble ticket details accurately
Excellent written and verbal communications skills

Work Schedule Information
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Colorado Pay Statement
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, or Washington is $55,100 - $105,800. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays.
(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full time employees: accrue 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO); receive 40 hours of Granted PTO annually for incidental absences; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of PTO per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO is prorated based on hours worked and start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.
Premium Pay Statement
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California and New York is $63,500 - $119,500. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
