SaferWay Technologies provides outsourced Managed IT Services to businesses in the Greater Atlanta area, with a primary focus on the healthcare industry. SaferWay is seeking a qualified, professional, and motivated Help Desk Support Specialist. The Help Desk Support Specialist will be a key member of the Help Desk team responsible for being the first response to emails and Help Desk calls from clients. The individual will be responsible for providing technical support related to hardware, software and application issues in an efficient accurate manner.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Serve as Level 1 Help Desk Support with hardware, software and application issues over email, phone or in-person
- Perform remote troubleshooting through diagnostic techniques and pertinent questions
- Determine the best solution based on the issue and details provided by users
- Escalate issues to the next level of support personnel when required
- Document incidents and their resolution in Help Desk software
Qualifications
- Engaged in information technology or related field of study
- Ability to diagnose and resolve basic technical issues
- Knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices and procedures within IT
- Current working knowledge of desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, remote access, Microsoft Office, and common windows applications
