Position Overview:
As a Heavy Equipment Operator focused on demolition, you will play a critical role in executing precise and efficient demolition work. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operating excavators and a proven track record in demolition projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Excavator Operation:

• Safely operate excavators to perform various demolition tasks, including dismantling structures and clearing debris.
• Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on excavators to ensure optimal performance.

Demolition Projects:

• Collaborate with the project team to execute demolition tasks according to project plans and specifications.
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a secure working environment.

Safety and Compliance:

• Adhere to all safety regulations and practices, conducting pre-operation checks and reporting any issues promptly.
• Implement safe work practices and contribute to a culture of safety on-site.

Communication:

• Effectively communicate with team members, project managers, and other personnel to coordinate demolition activities.
• Provide updates on project progress and address any challenges encountered during operations.

Quality and Efficiency:

• Ensure the quality and precision of demolition work, meeting project deadlines and objectives.
• Strive for efficiency while maintaining a focus on safety and accuracy.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Heavy Equipment Operator with a focus on demolition (3+ years).
• Valid Heavy Equipment Operator certification or license.
• Proficiency in operating excavators for demolition tasks.
• In-depth knowledge of safety regulations and protocols in the construction and demolition industry.
• Ability to interpret project plans and blueprints related to demolition activities.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Physical fitness and stamina to perform the duties of the role.
• High school diploma or equivalent (additional training or certification is a plus).
