Heavy Civil Highway Operator Foreman

McNamee Construction Corp. is seeking Heavy CivilHighwayOperator Foreman, with the ability to set grades and fine grade material for Maine (Freeport) sitework. Duties will include the effective and efficient management of a Heavy Equipment Operator Crew.

Position Summary:

The Heavy Civil Highway Equipment Operator Foreman is responsible for safe and technically proficient operation of equipment assigned and the leadership of a Heavy Equipment Operator Crew. Effectively operate Bulldozers (Fine Grade), Excavators, Backhoes and other miscellaneous equipment.

Compensation based on experience. $45-$60 per hour

Responsibilities:

· Comply with (and actively promote) all Safety policies and procedures including reporting all accidents, incidents and near misses of your crew to ensure adherence to our Number One Core Value – Safety, first in everything we do.

· Complete equipment condition reports, as well as a daily checklist of work to be done on your crews equipment and provide to the Project Superintendent daily.

· Understand and comply with all Company safety policies and procedures. Know where all utilities within the work zone are located. Be responsible for your own safety as well as those working in the area.

· Inform your Project Superintendent of daily of your equipment fuel status so the fuel truck can be scheduled if needed for the next morning.

Qualifications:

· OSHA 10

· Operator Experience in Heavy Civil Construction Equipment (3- 5 Years)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45.00 - $60.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
