Job Title: Healthcare IT Integration Specialist

Job Description:

We are seeking a Healthcare IT Integration Specialist with a minimum of five (5) years' experience in healthcare IT, preferably within the health insurance sector. The ideal candidate will possess fluency in HL7 2.x file format (specifically ADT and clinical messages), HL7 FHIR, and experience with CCD and C-CDA documents. Additionally, familiarity with X12 file formats and experience with file parsing (XML, XSLT, etc.) is highly desired.

Responsibilities:

- Develop and maintain integration solutions for healthcare IT systems, with a focus on health insurance applications.

- Work with HL7 2.x file formats, including ADT and clinical messages, to facilitate data exchange between systems.

- Implement HL7 FHIR standards for interoperability between healthcare applications.

- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to design and implement integration solutions using CCD and C-CDA documents.

- Assist in the development of X12 file format solutions for EDI transactions.

- Utilize file parsing techniques such as XML and XSLT to extract and transform data as needed.

- Apply object-oriented programming concepts to develop and maintain integration code.

- Utilize tools such as OnBase and PostMan to facilitate integration testing and troubleshooting.

- Experience with Edifecs or similar platforms is desired, particularly in developing profiles and routes for data transformation and routing.

- Familiarity with MuleSoft for API integration is a plus.

- Knowledge of REST APIs and SQL Server databases is essential for this role.

- Stay updated on emerging technologies and standards in healthcare IT integration.

- Provide technical guidance and support to team members on integration technologies and best practices.

Requirements:

- Minimum of five (5) years' experience in healthcare IT, preferably within the health insurance industry.

- Proficiency in HL7 2.x file format (ADT and clinical messages), HL7 FHIR, CCD, and C-CDA documents.

- Experience with X12 file formats and EDI transactions is desired.

- Strong skills in file parsing techniques, including XML, XSLT, etc.

- Comfortable with object-oriented programming concepts.

- Experience with OnBase and PostMan for integration testing and troubleshooting.

- Familiarity with Edifecs or similar platforms for data transformation and routing.

- Experience with MuleSoft or other API integration platforms is a plus.

- Knowledge of REST APIs and SQL Server databases.

- Understanding of integration technologies and protocols such as HL7 messaging and RESTful APIs.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $130,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
