Do you like puzzles? Healthcare Inventory Specialists at Partners Healthcare Group are masters at solving complex puzzles. They travel nationwide (on weekdays) to inventory medical equipment at hospitals. The puzzle comes into play as hospitals are caring for patients and some of their most valuable equipment is on wheels. Our team helps the hospitals keep track of what they have and where it’s at.This isn’t your normal office job – you’ll be on your feet while in the field and spending time in active patient environments. You’ll get all expenses paid to travel across the US performing mini scavenger hunts at each project. If you’ve worked on the clinical side (nurse, biomedical, even sales) and tired of the normal routine – this is a great opportunity to pick up projects for good money.
Job Requirements:
- Desire to work in patient care/hospital environment
- Maintain physical fitness/stamina levels to be “on your feet” for 8 – 10 hour days, often walking 6-8 miles
- Willingness to adhere to customer protocols and procedures
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel & Access
- Analytical aptitude to deliver accurate data management and reporting
- Data organization – pulling and classifying data from different sources to present one organized database
- Strong people skills – contributing to sound relationships with clients and co-workers
- Present and maintain professional appearance
- Ability to work well under tight time constraints
- Comfortable with project, work-team approach
- “Can do” attitude to accommodate both expected and unexpected project challenges
Understanding that this is a service-based business – individual efforts are constantly observed and evaluated by our customers.If you have experience (or education) in Biomedical. Nursing or Hospital Administration, you’ll fit well in this role. Except now, you’ll get more travel and learn how facilities work across the US. And once you’ve become familiar with the equipment, you could earn your way to a full-time Associate position with full-benefits to also assist with reconciliations.
