Healthcare Data Analyst

**This is not an Entry-Level position. Applicants must have experience in Healthcare Revenue Cycle Data Reporting & Analysis.

**This position is a hybrid role, combining remote work with an in-office commitment of 2 times per week and as required.

Position Summary and Purpose

The Healthcare Data Analyst will obtain raw data, compile, verify the accuracy of the information, and develop visualizations of the data. The Healthcare Data Analyst's primary focus will be the creation of regular reporting for multiple healthcare companies, preparing client reporting packages, compiling other ad hoc reporting as needed, and creating a bridge between revenue cycle statistics and other financial information.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Preparing, modifying, and developing revenue-cycle reports.
• Pull and compile data to develop recurring, one-time, and ad hoc reports.
• Build dashboards for managers, leadership, and clients from revenue cycle data.
• Maintain and support various databases, spreadsheets, and dashboard reports.
• Identify and resolve errors in reports.
• Prepare clear and concise data reports for leadership and others as required.
• Ensure the integrity of project data by monitoring and validating the extraction, processing, storage, and manipulation of the information.
• Train other teammates to obtain data points and generate regular and ad hoc reports.

Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of Healthcare Revenue Cycle
• Expert in Microsoft Excel, specifically use of Pivot Tables.
• Communicating analytical insights to leadership (i.e., trends, outliers, etc.).
• Willingness to learn and utilize Power BI.
• Can effectively communicate with leadership and end users to understand reporting requirements.
• Ability to prioritize tasks.

• Delve into data to discover discrepancies and patterns.

Education and Experience:

• Minimum Two-year college degree-year in Healthcare Informatics, Mathematics, Statistics, Healthcare Administration.
• Computer proficiency and the ability to learn new programs.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Familiarity with business intelligence software (i.e., PowerBI, Tableau, Domo, ClicData, etc.)
• Statistical reporting knowledge
• Experience and proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Excel, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive)
• Minimum two years’ experience in a similar role

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in Healthcare Informatics, Mathematics, Statistics, Healthcare Administration, or related field.
• Experience in the Healthcare field, with familiarity of revenue cycle.
• Revenue cycle software experience.

• Physical requirements: Sedentary work (e.g., sitting at a desk most of the time. Walking and/or standing required occasionally).
• Visual acuity requirements: Close visual acuity (e.g., viewing a computer terminal for long periods of time). Ability to determine the accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of work assigned.
• General environment: Subject to inside environmental conditions.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $82,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
