Behavior change is at the heart of what we do. Our Health Psychologists collaborate with physicians and other practitioners to create a complete understanding of our patients and develop individualized programs that result in lasting behavioral and health changes.
Responsibilities - Clinical
- Possesses a patient-centric mindset and expresses empathy through intensive active listening and communication skills
- Maintain up-to-date and accurate patient records
- Provide psychological evaluations and assessments
- Explore patients’ physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual states in conjunction with their nutrition, physical activity, lifestyle, sleep, stress, career, and relationships
- Improve patient health, vitality, and well-being by overcoming limiting beliefs and engaging in behaviors that have been proven to improve health and prevent disease
- Create a foundation in mindfulness practice, coaching patients to become more aware and empowered regarding their conditioned behaviors, habits, and choices at the moment
- One-on-one and group sessions
Responsibilities - Training & Education
- Responsible for providing behavioral education to patients
- Write engaging content/collaterals that reflect your expertise intertwined with our practice’s DNA and brand voice
- Educate and inform patients by contributing to the practice library
- Participate in video creation and production Summarize results of scientific research papers
Qualifications
- Licensed Psychologist or Licensed Clinical Social-Worker required
- Knowledge of and experience with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy
- 3+ years Cardiology experience (preferred)
