Job Description:

Rewarding in-house Health Coach position earning potential of up to $70,000 in the first year and up to $100,000 by the third year. Starting salary $20/hour with increases, bonuses and stock ownership possibilities based upon performance!

The primary purpose of this position is to care for and create a rapport with our patients. This is one of the most important roles in the company as you in contact with our patients on a regular basis. You are the boots on the ground to help advocate for our patients, help educate them when appropriate, and hold them accountable to making small daily changes to improve their overall health.

The LiveCare Health Center is open 7 days a week, so weekend availability is a big plus. However, it’s not all work and no play at LiveCare Health. We have found that our best coaches communicate clearly and professionally, have great listening skills, enjoy working as part of a team, and are motivated and capable of self-directed work. Efficient time management is a huge plus, as well as showing great attention to detail. After working full time for 6 months, the option to apply for a hybrid work option will be made available.

Education and Experience:

• Must be licensed or certified (completed the state competency test successfully). At minimum, one of the following: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA). Must be able to provide license number.
• Preferred experience in a health care environment for 6 months to a year.
• Must have a current and up to date driver’s license.

Specific Requirements:

• Must be able to read, write, and speak the English language in an understandable manner. Fluency in any additional languages is enthusiastically welcome.
• Must possess the ability to make independent decisions, follow instructions, and to accept constructive criticism.
• Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, patients, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel and public.
• Must maintain the care and use of LiveCare Health equipment, supplies, equipment, etc.
• Must be willing to work harmoniously with other personnel, and patients.

Health Coach Role and Responsibilities:

• Contact, care, and maintain your patients on a regular basis.
• Maintain patient privacy per HIPAA guidelines.
• Emphasize the importance of daily testing.
• Motivate and encourage patients to implement little changes to their daily behaviors using SMART goals.
• Use the data to track patient’s progress and work with the patient to find additional ways to improve.
• Learn and follow medically compliant documentation as instructed by LiveCare Health.
• Maintain chart notes in compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Additional responsibilities may be required as directed by management.
• Follow policies and procedures as stated in the Employee Handbook.

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Must be able to reliably commute to the office.

Schedule:

• 8-hour shift
• No overnight shifts
