Are you our next Health Care Technician?
As a Health Care Technician (HCT), you will work across Wilder’s Home Care Services in the community and Customized Living Services provided at two Saint Paul Public Housing sites (Ravoux and Hamline Hi-Rises). Together with Wilder’s Healthy Aging & Caregiving Services, you will join a collaborative team that supports the health and independence of adults to age and be cared for in community, critical to Wilder’s mission of improving lives today and for generations to come!
In your role, you will provide person-centered care to older adults and adults with chronic conditions and support them with daily living assistance, such as housekeeping, laundry, medication administration and personal care. You will promote clients’ safety, implement care plans, and provide basic rehabilitative services utilizing rehabilitative principles as instructed by nurse and site coordinator. Communicating regularly with an interdisciplinary team and completing documentation as directed is also essential as a Health Care Technician.
Are you looking to change careers? Would you like to make a difference in the lives of seniors in your community? We will support your career growth by funding your training as a Nursing Assistant or Home Health Aide too!
