Healing Generations Therapist (Co-Occurring Disorders)

Position Description: The Healing Generations therapist will serve the American
Indian population in the Twin Cities area and provide individual, couples and family
therapy/counseling to adults and children experiencing depression, grief, substance
abuse, domestic violence, other emotional disturbances and environmental trauma. This
position will have a focus largely on adult community members with co-occurring
disorders, primarily from our IOP program. However, you will also serve community
members who may not be in the IOP program. There may be times when you will
asked to provide mental health services to a child or adult. In addition, this position
could also require co-facilitation of therapeutic support groups when needed or asked
by your direct supervisor.
