Your Child and Mine Early Learning Center is looking for an organized, approachable Toddler Lead Teacher to join our team. The Toddler Lead Teacher will be responsible for implementing curricula to meet the basic and educational needs of toddlers. To ensure success as a lead toddler teacher, you should be compassionate, able to work well under pressure and should remain up-to-date with advances in early childhood development research. To ensure success as a Toddler Lead Teacher, you should demonstrate outstanding interpersonal and leadership skills.
Duties/Responsibilities
Designing and implementing curricula that cater to the basic and educational needs of toddlers.
Conducting child assessments to gauge students' progress.
Documenting and reporting on students' process.
Establishing relationships with each family to ensure that their toddler's needs are met.
Leading staff and parent meetings.
Organizing and engaging in occasional team-building activities.
Keep classroom neat and organized
Ensuring adherence to the educational guidelines and policies
Teaching basic manners and skills to the toddlers
Encouraging toddlers to express themselves and engage in creative activities
Requirements
Associate/ Bachelors degree in Education
Infant/child CPR and First Aid certification preferred
Proven experience in curriculum development and implementation.
Prior experience in teaching within this age group.
Great communication skills
A passion for working with babies and toddlers.
lifting individual children; up to 40 lbs, frequent walks and the ability to kneel, bend, squat or crawl.
Familiarity with various child development techniques
Patient, nurturing and thoughtful.
Job Type: Full-time/ Mon-Fri
Compensation: $36,000- $43,000 annually
