Head Of Production

RockFilter is a Farmer owned and led organic distillery nestled in the southeast corner of Minnesota. Being one of only two certified farm distilleries in the state, RockFilter has a distinctly local approach to creating our small batch organic spirits. The white oak, limestone filtered water, and generations old farm, are all natural resources in this region, making it easy for us to pay homage to our local roots while honoring the age-old art of Distilling.

We are in search of an experienced Head of Production to join our team.

This position requires experience in all phases of the distilling process including- mashing, fermentation, distilling, proofing, bottling, and packaging. Our Head of Production must be detailed oriented and self-motivated.

In addition to the daily production requirements, key responsibilities for this position include:

·      Updating and/or creating new SOP’s for distilling procedures to aid in the completion of annual organic certification and other regulatory compliance.

·      Provide direct management of co-workers including hiring, training, scheduling, oversight, and accountability for timely, quality work.

·      Accountability to and coordination with administration through management tools including but not limited to data collection, spreadsheet creation, and analysis.

·      Monitoring and updating Whiskey Systems

·      Maintain inventories and reordering of distilling supplies.

Other requirements:

·      High School diploma or equivalent

·      Valid Driver’s License

·      Be at least 21 years of age

·      The ability to stand and walk for long periods of time

·      The ability to lift 60 lbs

·      The ability to Drive a forklift
