Head Of Production

MONO is looking for a Head of Production to help us grow our best-in-class integrated production capability and lead an ambitious team to inspire, solve and maximize MONO's opportunity to create legendary work. The Head of Production will lead the department while also leading the work as an engaged executive producer in areas of film/video, emerging tech, content, digital, art, print and integrated productions. 

As department leader, the Head of Production will be responsible for establishing a shared mission that will achieve ambitious agency goals for the production department. You are a people leader who creates synergy and inspires our talented production team. You have proven success in leading, developing and directly managing people along with clearly defining and setting expectations for Producers, Production Designers, Business Affairs and Studio talent. 

In the work, you are an optimistic, assertive, creatively-minded production leader with a strong reputation of “finding a way” to guide teams/clients on inventive, smart solutions - especially with complex brands/assignments or challenging production parameters. The Head of Production is an empowered and engaged agency discipline leader who partners closely with Creative, Account and Operations Leads. This role will report to the Chief Creative Officer. 

You are currently an Executive Producer, with a great reputation of inspiring people, who’s in search of an opportunity to help architect and build the future of Production at MONO. Key requirements for the role include: a minimum of 10 years of agency production experience, including prior management experience, significant exposure to modern content productions, comfortable with small and large production budgets, proven success in developing, coaching and managing day-to-day people dynamics, and rallying them around a central vision.

This is a locally-based role, where relocation will be required for candidates living outside of the Minneapolis/St. Paul area. We currently observe a hybrid work model. We work onsite every Tuesday and Wednesday for Work From MONO (WFM) days with the purpose of fostering agency connection. Travel is required.
